BOOTS ESSENTIALS CUCUMBER MOISTURISING CREAM

hello...i know some of you who were following my blog, must have thought at some point of time....

(yes, The Devil Wears Prada reference was absolutely necessary :P )

It so happens that I had been crazy busy with work n stuff...but new year new resolution: I will seriously try to be regular here from now on. :)

Ok so today I want to share with you an AHMAZING budget beauty product, which is not only pocket friendly (in case you dont like it, you wont regret spending money on it hehe) but also very suitable for an oily-cum-acne-prone skin! and when I say acne-prone, I don't mean the teeny tiny harmless acne vulgaris, rather those big painful nasty bumps which leave horrible scars on your skin :@  Due to my skin being so problematic lately, I have been very very cautious in selecting anything that I apply on face.

"Boots Essentials Cucumber Moisturising Cream is enriched with soothing cucumber and vitamins, it is suitable for day or night use and contains antioxidants to help protect the skin from environmental damage."

Boots Essentials Cucumber Moisturising Cream says its suitable for all skin types. I cant promise it will be very suitable for extra dry skin (esp. in winters) but you can always layer it up as it is very light and non-greasy. The texture is a really fluffy one, absorbs quickly and you enjoy a very muted cucumber scent.

It comes in a 100 ml bottle which is made of plastic. Quite sturdy, and you don't have to fear it falls outta your hands ;) however, there is no lid inside the cap, so if the bottle is turned upside down, some of the cream transfers to the inside of the cap. Not a big issue as such, but some people might find it a bit messy...

The quantity is pretty good for the price, and you need a pea size amount to cover the whole face. (those with dry skin might want to apply double the amount...). It keeps my oily skin moisturised for a good 5-6 hours. There is no SPF in it, so you can apply it at night time as well. I have been using this for about a month now, morning and night, and you can see I have still almost 80% of the amount left....

So for the price tag of PKR 350 (~ USD 3.5), this is a very pocket friendly product. For my troubled skin, I would say its a greattttt product, as it not only leaves my skin feeling refreshed and smooth, but also didn't break me out (my biggest fear in trying out new products!). I think people with oily and combination skin will really enjoy using it.

I bought mine from Naheed's superstore Karachi. I have loved this product in winters, and I am definitely going to continue using this in summers as well (I had this very bad habit of not using any moisturiser for my face, but I'm a good girl now and won't skip on moisturiser :D )

Have you guys used this product before? or any other recommendations from Boots? Do share with us :)

Oh and a very happy new year dear fellas! :)
